Are Permanent Cosmetics Safe?

As with nearly all cosmetic procedures, there is a risk of an allergic reaction to permanent makeup. While these reactions are extremely rare, they can happen. If you have a history of adverse reactions, please inform us beforehand, and we will find a way to accommodate your needs. Your health and well-being are our primary concern, so it’s important for us to be aware of any questions or concerns you may have before undergoing any cosmetic procedures.

How Long Do Permanent Cosmetics Last?

Although permanent cosmetic procedures are designed to last, fading may occur over time. The longevity of your permanent cosmetic procedure depends on several factors, including overexposure to the sun, pre-existing skin conditions, and the use of topical drugs. To maintain your results, we recommend using products with SPF on your skin and/or lips before prolonged exposure to the sun.

What Do Consultation Appointments Consist Of?

Depending on the number of procedures you would like to have done, the consultation process may take one to two sessions. It is essential that we provide thorough advice to help you feel as confident as possible in your procedure(s). During the consultation, we will explain each process in detail and provide a quote for the services. This will ensure that you understand precisely what your procedure will entail.

Are The Treatments Painful?

Our feathering technique is designed to minimize discomfort during these procedures. However, everyone’s pain tolerance is different. Our aim is to make you as comfortable as possible, so please let us know if you require any assistance beforehand.

How Long Is The Healing Process Following A Permanent Cosmetic Procedure?

Healing occurs at different rates for everyone, and your skin is likely to go through various stages of the healing process. Typically, people experience swelling and redness in the treated area for a day or two following the procedure. The colour of the treated area may appear darker for the first 5-7 days, after which the skin will begin to lightly peel, revealing the true, softer color.
